A Manufactured/Mobile Home Community (Mobile Home Park) Registration is required of all manufactured and mobile home parks that offer 2 or more spaces (lots) in the park for rent or lease for year-round occupancy. Park owners are required to register and pay annual fees.
The fees support the Attorney General's Office who administer the Manufactured Housing Dispute Resolution Program and enforces the Manufactured/Mobile Home Landlord-Tenant Act. The Business Licensing Service registers manufactured/mobile home communities and collects the registration fees.
The Program started in 2007. All existing parks were required to register by November 1, 2007. New parks must register within 3 months of availability of mobile home lots for rent within the community.

A qualifying home is one where the owner of the home doesn't own the space on which it is located.
