OLYMPIA, Wash. – June 4, 2024 – The Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) today welcomes the city of Chewelah to its local government licensing support system. The Stevens County community of 2,000 has about 200 active businesses.
BLS is the state’s premier licensing one-stop solution that connects businesses to hundreds of state registrations, such as liquor licenses and teen worker permits.
Chewelah joins the same system serving dozens of cities and towns throughout Washington. The enhanced service will help regional businesses by linking to the common application and renewal process that BLS partners Spokane, Moses Lake, and Colville use for local license administration.
Local licensing partners Odessa and Okanogan also will soon join BLS.
Find a complete list of municipal partners on the local license endorsements page.
