Snoqualmie joins dozens of King County cities in the Washington’s local licensing one-stop.
OLYMPIA, Wash., Sept. 19, 2023 – The Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) is adding another King County partner to its combined licensing one-stop. The city of Snoqualmie, population 14,000, will be the 27th King County city to partner with BLS.
BLS is the ubiquitous service linking registrations for more than 200 cities, including neighbors Issaquah and North Bend, to hundreds of state agency licenses such as liquor licenses and teen worker permits.
The partnership already serves Redmond, SeaTac, and many others in the county which is home to 2.5 million people and the state’s largest businesses, including Costco and Microsoft.
The local licensing connection links application and renewal processes in a one-stop process for businesses like contractors and regional vendors likely to need business licenses in several cities across the state.
Revenue’s integrated licensing administration system is free to municipal governments. Find a complete list of municipal partners on the local license endorsements page.
