Woodland joins Revenue's combined licensing service

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Jan. 20, 2022 – The city of Woodland today is the newest local partner to join the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

Home to 6,500 residents and hundreds of businesses, Woodland was founded in 1906 and has a rich agricultural history. Each spring, Woodland celebrates its Planter’s Day Festival. The celebration, which turns 100 this year, is the longest-running annual community festival in Washington state.

BLS supports about 600 different types of regulatory licenses. It is a free benefit to public agencies and local governments to expedite service to businesses. All cities and towns in Cowlitz and Clark counties that issue business licenses are now linked by Revenue’s licensing one-stop solution.
