Winlock, Toledo, Pe Ell, and Vader all joining state Business Licensing Service
OLYMPIA, Wash. – April 22, 2021 – Four Lewis County communities are streamlining their service to local business this spring by adding Revenue’s combined licensing solution.
The state Business Licensing Service (BLS) will welcome:
- Winlock - April 22
- Toledo - May 6
- Pe Ell - May 20
- Vader - June 17
Centralia, Chehalis, and Napavine are BLS partners. All incorporated Lewis County communities will be active BLS partners in early 2022.
BLS is a free service that already works with other Lewis County communities to connect state registrations with local business licenses. Now, a business that does work in several Lewis County communities can manage all local licenses in the same portal where state taxes are reported.
More than 160 Washington communities are connected by BLS. The service helps businesses manage more than 600 types of endorsements, sync expiration dates, and renew various licenses with a single annual payment. A list of all local partners is listed on the BLS city license endorsements page.
