OLYMPIA, Wash. – July 7, 2020 – In the summer of 1942, water first began flowing over the top of the Grand Coulee Dam to generate power. In the summer of 2020, the neighboring communities of Grand Coulee and Coulee Dam are powering up local commerce with the benefits of the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service.
Both communities are streamlining licensing by linking to the state’s one-stop service for business that partners with more than 130 Washington cities and towns.
BLS connects local licensing programs to the state’s premier solution, which allows businesses to register for and renew state and local licenses in one convenient process.
BLS supports about 600 different types of regulatory licenses with its free service to benefit public agencies and local governments. A list of partner cities is listed on the city license endorsements page.
