Four Eastern Washington cities to join BLS in January

Brewster, Cle Elum, Republic, Ritzville are part of a cascade of new BLS partners

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Jan. 9, 2020 – Four Eastern Washington cities will join the state Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) this month, further strengthening the business network of Washington communities.

The greater Columbia Basin communities of Brewster, Cle Elum, Republic and Ritzville will connect their local licensing programs to the state’s premier solution, which allows businesses to register for and renew state and local licenses in one convenient process.

With the new service, the local requirements for business licensing are linked to the state licensing programs at the state departments of Agriculture, Labor & Industries, Licensing and many more.

BLS is scheduled to add partnerships in more than three dozen cities and towns in 2020. More information is at bls.dor.wa.gov and a list of partner cities is at dor.wa.gov/city-license-endorsements.
