OLYMPIA, WASH. – Aug. 23, 2018 –Today, Chehalis joins Centralia as a full partner in the state’s Business Licensing Service (BLS). Nearly 1,000 Lewis County businesses have access to the new streamlined local licensing process.
BLS is the state’s business licensing one-stop. The service helps Washington businesses apply for and renew local licenses quickly and conveniently in a single payment process. A nearby city in Lewis County, Napavine, will join BLS next year, connecting more businesses to the department’s licensing service.
Revenue manages one of the few systems nationwide that allows businesses to register with state agencies and cities simultaneously. BLS connects businesses to 400 types of registrations, such as liquor licenses and work permits.
